Last but not least, let me introduce our wheelchair-friendly vehicle. Please take a look at the screen placed at the front as Demio-i and MPV automatic second-row lift-up seat which are exhibited at the back. Please take a look at the screen.
[ Demio-i ] Click for additional information.
Based on the Demio which has flexible as well as spacious cabin, Demio-i is a pick-up car designed specifically for the wheelchair use featuring super-low floor.
Equipped with a headrest and a three-point seatbelt as well as retractable assist-grips on both sides for greater riding comfort and safety.
Microphones and speakers are placed near driver's seat and where the wheelchair will be placed for facilitating conversation between the driver and the wheelchair passenger, and a camera and monitor for monitoring the rear seat.
Fun conversation can be enjoyed through this.
When the wheelchair is not on board, the vehicle can be used as normal Demio for maximum of five passengers.
Since the rear seat is removable, it can be removed to create more spacious room in case of carrying only three passengers.

At the touch of a button on the remote control, the sliding door opens, while at the same time, the roof opens, with the seat rotating and shifting position for the passenger to easily enter/exit the vehicle even for the tall passengers.
In addition, the seat for this lift-up seat lowers to 450m/m enabling easy egress and ingress for the elderly and wheelchair users.
The MPV also features a seat developed from a medical perspective, with an adjustable supporting position to fit the physique or posture of any passenger, providing greater riding comfort for the physically challenged.
