Thank you for coming to view the Mazda stand during the 39th Tokyo Motor Show 2005.

At the Tokyo Motor Show in 2001, Mazda launched Zoom-Zoom as our global brand message. Since that time, our new generation products, starting with the Atenza and the RX-8, have been developed to fully embody our brand values. Products that invite attention with distinctive design, deliver outstanding, balanced driving dynamics, and offer insightful packaging solutions. Our new generation products have led our global growth, delighted customers, and earned media accolades all over the world.

At this year's show, you will notice that Mazda's product initiatives will continue to grow. Our attractive lineup today and our future product concepts demonstrate the promise of Zoom-Zoom and Mazda's steady growth plans into the future.
Next spring, the All New Mazda MPV will be on sale here in Japan. More than a minivan, the All New MPV is a next-generation minivan designed exclusively for Japanese customers that reconciles space wagon utility with the responsive handling and performance typical of a Mazda.
We also have on hand the MX-Crossport, a crossover vehicle concept that combines the functionality of an SUV with sports car driving dynamics and sophisticated styling. We plan to launch a production version of the MX-Crossport in North America next year.
The full array of new generation models, combined with these two all-new vehicles, deliver the most complete and exciting vehicle lineup in Mazda's history.

Environmental initiatives and progress are also very important to Mazda. Mazda's creativity and spirit of innovation has been realized into new concept cars and technology that we are exhibiting here in Tokyo.
For example, the MZR 2.3L DISI Turbo found in new Mazdaspeed Atenza, is the only turbo engine produced in Japan that complies with SU-LEV standards. It possesses an irresistible driving quality and fun to drive factor combined with a higher degree of eco-friendliness.
Also, we are displaying the Hydrogen Rotary Engine RX-8 and Premacy Hydrogen RE Hybrid, both fine examples of the broader potential of Mazda's unique hydrogen rotary engines in the future.
And the Mazda SENKU, a unique four-seater rotary sports car concept , offers a glimpse into Mazda's vision of the future and our promise of Zoom-Zoom.
Please enjoy your visit to the Mazda stand as your experience our contributions to "DRIVING TOMORROW".
