The newly-developed direct injection MZR 2.3L DISI* turbo engine delivers the powerful, linear torque and instant response vital to thrilling acceleration. And the high-rigidity body and new suspension system complement the high-power engine with sporty Mazda handling that is also reassuringly stable. Large sliding doors mounted on both sides give easy entry and exit, and make loading luggage a breeze. Opening them reveals a wide space packed with quality and comfort. Second-row seats slide laterally allowing use as either two captain's seats or a bench seat. Their large size and extra-long front-rear slide offer more comfort. Newly-developed, optional second-row Super-Relax seats include a large head restraint with swing mechanism and an ottoman to give genuine first-class comfort. The third row seat, too, is larger and offers more legroom assuring everyone of greater comfort.
